Sathiya Sothanai Movie Download Moviesda Isaimini : A heavily bejeweled man crawls through the deserted Panangad area of a village in Aruppukkottai. He was hacked to death by a gang of four.
The next morning, Pradeep (Premji) passes by and sees the body lying in the sun and moves it aside. He also took the watch, chain and phone belonging to the murdered person and went to the Sangupatti police station and lodged a complaint.
Premji
Meanwhile, it has been revealed that the place where the murder took place is in the Bagattu police station area and the place where Premji's body was kidnapped is in the Sangupatti police station area. The real killers come to the police station next door. Meanwhile, questions have been raised as to where the rest of the jewelery on the neck of the deceased has gone. Immediately the suspicious eyes of the police turned on Premji. This 'reality check' tries to tell where the jewels actually went and how two police officers handled the case in a humorous way.
Premji as an uneducated village boy. His performance as Premji seems isolated, does not do justice to the character he has adopted and does not stick to the story. KG Mohan plays the role of shop police officer Kuberan.
Experiments with truth
His pranks with his fellow officers bring laughter from time to time. The character is named after the person known as 'Subramanyapuram' Siddha.
Ku comes as an honest judge. Gnanasambandhan has done a good job of showing the anger and scornful look of the offending officers. However, more attention could have been paid to the dubbing of his early scenes. The heroine Swayam Siddha is not even given enough screen time to use in a song. At the same time, other characters such as the housewife, the grunting informer also get attention.
Cinematographer RV Charan has captured the beauty of the red earth in the cinematography. The opening scenes of the film contain several disjointed "jump cuts". It creates confusion whether the hero is in the flashback or the present. Cinematographer Venkat Rajan could have paid more attention to this.
The occasional one-liners are hilarious. But it is questionable whether the political discourse of private property and public property is necessary. If the story has relevance, director Suresh Sangaiah has failed to convey it through visuals. Music composer Raghuram's Ayyappa Samy song and another song in the voice of Gangai Amaran are impressive. Deepan Chakraborty could have done the background music better. Art director Vasudevan has decently scored the opportunities available in art direction like the police station with an empty cart standing, the court in Chittoor, grandmother's house.
The plot begins interestingly as a murder and jewel theft. However, as the hero of the story becomes alien to the audience, the thrill begins to fade. However, the supporting cast keeps the scenes moving. This creates confusion as to whether the story follows the hero's point of view or the supporting cast's point of view.
The police station structure in the villages, the realistic court scene, the police station boundary issue etc. are shown close to reality. Especially the scene where the police ask the killers how the murder happened and the court trial scenes are well shot.
There are several lapses in logic, such as the fact that the killers were not investigated on the suspicion that they might have taken away the jewel, and that no precautions were taken to prevent the accused from escaping. Some scenes like the Rottweiler dog scene in the film, the scene where the dog gets into an auto after being bitten, remind me of the snake on top of the lamp in 'Chandramukhi'. Beyond all this, the climactic scene ends without making it clear what the film is trying to say.
Overall, the director has taken a good plot but lacks a good lead design, screenplay etc. Although isolated scenes do generate laughs here and there, the film is incomplete.
