Short Story :
2024 Malayalam movie "Manjummel Boys" is a story of friends from Manjummel town near Kochi. They are going on vacation from Kerala to Kodaikanal in Tamil Nadu.
A place known for its deep depths is Guna Cave. Their easygoing journey takes a dangerous turn when they decide to explore. Ignoring the warnings of a local guide, they venture into forbidden areas fueled by a sense of adventure.
One of the friends, Subhash, falls into a deep pit in the caves. This is the story of his friend Kutan and the rest of his friends saving him alive.
The film revolves around the strong bond between friends. Though it seems impossible, they refuse to give up on Subhash. Claustrophobia-inducing scenes depict them struggling to navigate treacherous cave passages and overcome their own fears in a desperate bid to save their friend.
